Outfit of the Day: Block Colour Cape

Hey kittens, today’s outfit is one that also features in my Winter Lookbook, and despite looking pretty stylish (if I do say so myself!) it was quick as a flash to put together, and comfortable to boot! (Chain boots, to be exact!).

As y’all know, I am all about the accessories, and this look is a great example of the power of accessory. The main clothes in this look are pretty simple – a pair of leggings, a sleeveless top and a jumper on top – and it’s just the items I paired with this that made it. Heck, this cape is such a celebrity style statement, yet all you have to do is pop it on over the top of water you’re wearing; stylish and practical for adding another layer!

To bring out the earthy tones in the cape, I opted for gold plated hardware on my accessories (love the chain detail on these Chockers boots) and highlighted it within my statement sunglasses from MyBag Online. I can’t wait to wear these babies in the summer too – only 6 months or so to wait! :)
