Hey kittens, hope you’re all okay and have had a lovely weekend! I know it’s a little unorthodox for me to post on a Sunday night, but I was just itching to tell y’all about an event I visited this weekend. Due to working full time, it often takes me a little while to turn around an event blog post, but I was desperate to share this one with y’all as I had such a lovely visit… Tonight’s blog post is all about the new Outfit Fashion store launch in Manchester.
On Friday I was invited along to the store launch of the new Outfit Fashion store in Manchester. Outfit Fashion, if you’re not already familiar, is a really cool concept; it’s all of Arcadia’s cool fashion brands under one roof. A bit like a mini department store for clothes, with a selection of different makes presented separately, but together, if you get what I mean? It’s a bit like a modern BHS for us fashion forward kittens, and I really like that concept.
This Outfit Fashion store only opened on Friday (17th October) at Crown Point, in Denton, Manchester. It’s at an out-of-town shopping precinct and the only other Outfit Fashion store I know of around here is at Handforth, which is also an out-of-town shopping centre that requires a little bit of a drive. However, it is definitely worth the drive and I would personally return to Crown Point for this store alone – it is huge! Way bigger than expected with a wide range of clothes, shoes and accessories available. I was impressed!
What I liked about the store, aside from it’s size, is how nicely all of the brands are laid out. The format of the store is that each brand, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, etc, all have their own section, yet you don’t feel a huge seperation between them. It encourages walking freely between brands and I was drawn to look at items from certain labels I wouldn’t usually wear (ahem, Wallis), but I guess that is the beauty of Outfit. There’s a little something for everyone.
Whilst I was there, I indulged myself in a little bit of shopping (it would be rude not to, right?) and this shop made it SO easy to do so. I have a haul video of what I bought exactly on my YouTube Channel (go check it out here to see exactly what I bought) but I literally bought a whole outfit from Outfit. Ha! I was so impressed and getting four items – including those stunning chelsea boots you see above – for full price (no student discount, no sale items) added up to just over £100. I reckon that’s really reasonable and the whole process of choosing a complete Autumn Winter look was just so darn easy. Dangerously easy!
Over all, I was so impressed with Outfit Fashion at Crown Point, Denton and I will definitely be returning. Although it is a little drive outside of Manchester city centre, it is totally worth it and I can see it coming in handy for last minute Christmas party outfits. After all, when you can get a whole new wardrobe under one roof, why would you go anywhere else?
