Rakuten for Gift Ideas

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, I am continuing on my lovey-dovey theme with my favourite Valentine’s Gift I have received this year. It may also give you a good starting point if you are looking for some last minute present ideas for your bae… So, have you ever heard of Rakuten? I hadn’t until they sent me this box of goodies, so it seems like the perfect time to tell you about Rakuten for Gift Ideas.

After looking around Rakuten myself and spending some pennies on there, I’ve found myself pretty familiar with it. In fact, I’ve kinda taken to a daily lunchtime browse of it to see what cool and quirky items I can hunt out. The only way I can describe it is similar to eBay or Amazon – they sell tons of different times in tons of different categories from tons of different sellers. There’s just so much variety and I think that’s what makes browsing so much! So, when I received this cute little Valentine’s gift box from them, I just had no idea what was going to be inside…

Turns out it was packed to the brim with Valentine’s stocking fillers and thoughtful bits and bobs. With Love Heart sweets (my favoutrite sweets, actually!) and matching candles to accompany them, there was a definitely LOVE theme going on. Pretty appropriate considering how much I now love the website. There were also bonus themed bits such as red coloured body butter, lipsticks and nail polish, everything I would need to pamper myself for the big day!

As an added bonus, I also received a bit of shop credit to try out Rakuten for myself and really help me make my mind on it. I so enjoyed browsing through their categories of home wear, fashion, beauty and technology and finally settled on something I would never usually treat myself to – a new fragrance. Perfume is one of those things I never buy for myself, it seems too indulgent and too special to just pick up on the weekly shop. However, this was the perfect chance to treat myself to Tom Ford Black Orchid, a scent I have been lusting over for the last two years. I was actually kinda surprised to see such a mix of highstreet and high end products on there, with Rakuten selling loads more brands than I would have imagined.

I am so thankful for this lovely box and it’s really opened my eyes to how handy the Rakuten for Gift Ideas is gifts when you aren’t quite sure what to look for…
