La Belle Beauty Salon Cheadle

Y’all know I love a good pamper session. There’s just something so lovely about indulging yourself in a good old pampering that makes you forget you’ve had a bad day and relaxing for an hour or two. Naturally, one of my favourite things is to visit a local beauty salon when I have time to treat myself (not that often, really!) and so when I was invited along to  the relaunch evening of La Belle Beauty Salon Cheadle I was so delighted to discover such a lovely local South Manchester beauty salon.

After being offered a glass of champagne (always a good start) and being serenaded (not personally – but I’ll accept it) by the soothing voice of guitar playing singer-song writer Sam Burrows, it was time to put La Belle’s pampering capabilities to the test! Taking a seat at a nail station, the lovely Sally of La Belle got to work on my nails, giving me a wonderful gel nail polish manicure. Her attention to detail was incredible; she filed my nails exactly how I wanted them, made sure there was not a lick of polish out of place and then even gave me a third coat of colour to ensure my black sparkly shade was as vibrant as possible. It’s been just over a week and my nails still look impeccable – I would 100% go back to this salon just to have Sally do my nails again!

Time for pampering part 2! After getting a fantastic manicure, it was time to try out the second beauty salon love of mine – getting my eyebrows done! You guys know I LOVE a good power brow, and so I couldn’t wait to try out Mahtab’s Threading Bar at La Belle Cheadle. Mahtab was so lovely and threaded my brows perfectly; she listened when I said I liked them full and kept them in my natural shape, just way neater! She then went ahead and tinted them dark (she asked how dark I would want them, answer: very dark!) before filling them in to create the perfect shape. She told me HD Brows at La Belle cost £15, which I think is a fair price, and again, I would absolutely go back to La Belle to have Mahtab threat and tint my brows again. I am SO happy with them, they are my natural shape but so much more defined, and as we all know, eyebrows really help to frame the face.

There were also facials and spray tans on offer during the night, and all the staff I spoke to were welcoming, friendly and just wanted us to have a good time! Having never been to La Belle before, I am now already planning my next visit – my nails and brows still look brilliant and I am left feeling so impressed with a salon so close to home. Thank you for having me, La Belle – I’ll be back!
