Hey kittens, hope you’re all having a lovely Saturday! For me, it’s been a working one, but I just had to interrupt my work to let y’all know some pretty exciting news… The dates for Manchester Fashion Week 2014 have been announced! And I just couldn’t wait to tell you.

In my blog post last week about the Manchester Fashion Week bloggers meet-up, I might have alluded to the fact that we knew the dates for the big day (or week) but weren’t allowed to say. In fact, I’ve had my lips sealed since late 2013 and finally I can say: MCRFW 2014 will be taking place over Bank Holiday Easter Weekend. Pop the 18th- 21st April in your diaries right now and start planning your outfits. I have.

Plus, I can also reveal that #MCRFW14 will be taking place at Hallé St Peters, Ancoats, in area which is at the heart of cotton industry history of Manchester. I’ve seen some snaps of the inside and it just looks incredible, so here’s looking forward to a long weekend full of fashion shows, after parties and events. 

So kittens, I’m absolutely thrilled to be able to finally let y’all in on the first details of #MCRFW14, especially as so many of you have been asking me when it will be taking place! Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly, as I am hugely proud of Manchester’s fashion history and I hope an event like this will reaffirm us Mancs as style setters in the UK. Tickets will be available in March – who am I gonna be seeing there?
