Today’s outfit is all about everything and anything embellished. From the tips of my Ravel adorned toes to the fedora on my curly head, it’s all about the detail. These heels have got to be one of my top shoe picks for 2013 – despite being pretty painful, they’re worth it every time. The gold detail in them also lends itself well to my plethora of gold accessories, including this 100% stunning cluch bag from Monsoon Accessorize. Tell me, have you ever seen such a beautiful handbag? It was love at first sight.
Once I’m on with a theme, I’m gonna see it through so it was a no-brainer when deciding to wear this amazing Red or Dead jumpsuit. Dungarees have been huge this year and despite being hesitant to dip my toe in the suspender-strap water, I dived in with both feet into this elaborate baroque number. Damask is one of my favourite patterns and this monochrome take on it lends itself well to this piece.
Although the jumpsuit is monochrome, I wanted to keep things relatively plain with my blouse so opted for a black blouse from Dorothy Perkins – a classic! For some collar detail, I added my spike and jewelled necklace from Warehouse. I love the way this necklace bridges between gold and silver, especially as this jumpsuit comes out looking quite cool toned compared to the gold accessories. A finishing touch, I’d say!
