We are starting to reach the time of year that winter turns into spring and whilst February is still a little too early to get the crop tops out, it’s just about the right time to pop on a long sleeve dress and pair of boots – a little bit of warmth, a little bit of cold. And yeah, ‘florals for spring, how groundbreaking’… Sue me.
This Closet London Peplum Hem Dress is all kinds of spring wonderfulness but not too much that it looks like you’re going overboard. Yeah, it’s deffo gonna look cute with bare legs and nude heels when it’s warm enough, but mixing it with black tights and accessories makes it so wearable during the transitional period and picks up the darker colours in the dress really well.
Paired with a set of affordable statement boots from Boohoo, I feel like this outfit is a little 70’s inspired. The abstract floral print and tassles make it feel kinda retro without being too in your face. The dip peplum hem of the dress is a lovely detail and gives a bit of added femininity to the look. It’s love.
