The Beauty Expert Collection Launch – The Rose Edition

If, like me, you’re a beauty box subscription junkie, you need to know about the brand new The Beauty Expert Collection.

Unlike other subscription boxes that work on a monthly basis and bring travel size beauty samples to your door (like the Lookfantastic Beauty Box I am subscribed to), The Beauty Expert Collection works on a different premise. Curated by high end skincare specialist beauty website, Beauty Expert, it contains six totally full size, high end products and comes out on a monthly basis.

This brand new product has just launched this August, so to celebrate, we headed to The Ivy in London to find out more…

Arriving at one of the most famous restaurants in the world, The Ivy, I felt totally spoilt. Beauty Expert is a luxurious beauty brand, a prestigious website selling only the best skincare, and I felt the venue captured that perfectly. Plus, if thing’s weren’t special enough, the stairway to our private dining room was scattered with rose petals, to perfectly reflect the first theme of their new subscription beauty bag: The Beauty Expert Collection – The Rose Edition.

I was welcomed to the event by the super friendly Beauty Expert Team and enjoyed an intimate networking session with top beauty bloggers from the UK, as well as representatives from Beauty Expert, the brands included within the Beauty Expert Collection – Rose Edition and other skincare industry experts. Chatting to other bloggers is always my favourite part of an event, but I did enjoy being able to ask skincare experts directly about their products, and it was reassuring to know that each brand were so enthusiastic and knowledge about their ethos and ingredients.

After our chit chat over a glass or two of prosecco, we were invited to take our seats in our private dining room at The Ivy. Of course, it goes without saying that the menu was absolutely delicious and I felt totally pampered throughout. I was treated like a Queen and the other bloggers I had the delight of sharing the meal with echoed the sentiments too. Plus, the tables were rose themed too (of course!) and we each had our own special rose to take home with us. Beautiful!

After dinner, we enjoyed coffees and chocolates (yep I did manage to find space after the best three course meal of my life!) whilst we heard speaches from the Beauty Expert team, and four of the six brands in the Beauty Expert Collection – Rose Edition.We heard from Monu, Ren, Balance Me and Pai which although all seem to specialise in luxury skincare for sensitive skin, each had a slightly different tact and actually revealed a lot about how each of the products in the collection can compliment each other. Each brand talked us through the benefits of rose as an ingredient in their product, filling us in on the history of the company and product in particular. Each of the brands in the Beauty Expert Collection are natural, luxury skincare products and so it was particularly interesting to hear from each of them.

After the speaches, we were welcomed by Monu, Ren, Balance Me and Pai to speak to their experts one-to-one to talk over any skincare concerns and have products and samples personally recommended to us. As I said before, it was a really great opportunity to speak to skincare experts face-to-face in a non-selling environment, and get open and honest advice. I found the facial reader machine-thingy (erm, I am sure it has a name, sorry!) to be particularly interesting. We each had our skin analysed under UV light to unveil any concerns hiding beneath the service, and then were kindly given personalised travel samples to try. I must also say that Monu were also particularly generous in giving us an extra goodie bag with full size samples (thank you!) and Ren with a lovely travel bag and travel size samples which I enjoyed using on my holiday (I NEED the Flash Hydro Boost in my life). Pai also kindly gave me a travel size of their Gentle and Brightening Cleanser which I have loved using twice daily for two weeks straight on my holidays and still hasn’t ran out!
