3 Indulgences For Any Wonderful Luxury Bathroom

Most of us dream about having a truly luxurious bathroom, because we know just how comforting a lovely space to just relax and practice self-care can be. We imagine soaking in deep tubs at our own pace, perhaps enjoying rainfall showers, and having plenty of space for our daily routines without necessarily feeling compacted.

However, luxury doesn’t always mean spending a fortune, rather it’s better to choose a few special elements that make an ordinary bathroom feel closer to a spa retreat. People often discover amazing deals on ex display bathrooms that bring luxury closer, but what if you’re not sure where to begin?

The good part is that a bathroom is often simpler in scope than you think, so selecting a few key pieces can genuinely improve the whole space. Think of luxury hotels as a good example here, as they often focus on just two or three standout features that make the whole room feel special, and make the rest bright, cohesive, and most of all easy to clean. The rest can be simple and understated.

In this post, then, we’ll explore three indulgences that can transform any bathroom into a space that feels luxurious, indulgent, but also not too much.

The Perfect Bathtub

A freestanding tub is a nice option, but if you havethe room for it, it can look absolutely wonderful. It doesn’t need to be the biggest or most expensive model of course, as what matters is how it sits in the space and if you can access it comfortably or safely. Position it where you can see it when you first enter the room.

This creates an immediate sense of luxury if it’s well lit. The right tub becomes a beautiful feature piece that way, almost like sculpture that’s both stunning and functional. You can also pair this with an overhead shower unit or have a wet room section in a corner to match.

Statement Lighting

Bathroom lighting often gets ignored, but it can quite literally define a bathroom as much, much classier than it otherwise would have. Of course, an overhead wall light is fine, but having those wall sconces at eye level that run along part of the mirror section can be great too, or at either side of it. This creates a softer, more flattering light that makes the room feel special, and also makes you feel good and confident in the mirror! If you add a small chandelier, pendant light or even gentle floor lighting for extra glamour, it can work well with nicely laid tiles. Just have different lighting settings if you can because you don’t want to be flash-banged when walking in on a tired and cold winter morning.

High-End Hardware

The fixtures do make a difference and it’s best to go for the best you can afford, such as quality taps, handles, and shower fittings that help define the character of the whole bathroom. These pieces get used every day, so you notice their weight and smoothness more easily if they’re well-crafted and cohesive in your bathroom space. Just choose finishes that feel good to the touch too, and keep a simple color tone such as wooden implementation, polished chrome, brushed brass, or matte black. When all your hardware matches and feels substantial, it gives the bathroom a cohesive, expensive look even if you did receive a good deal.

With this advice, we hope you can more easily indulge in some nice trimmings for your impressive bathroom.
