Private Jet Charter Beauty Products for Women

IMG_2343’m not going to lie, I’ve never been on a private yet and let’s be honest, as much as I desire it, it’s unlikely that will ever become a reality for me! Instead, I’ll stay flying from Manchester Airport Terminal 2 and catching up on the latest Easyjet deals. But, as I have just booked my next holiday to Boston, I have been planning my long haul flight beauty routine and therefore have taken in some tips from the privet jet setters and have collated a list of everything you need for your mile high skincare regimen.

Hand Sanitiser

Not strictly a skincare step, but there is absolutely no way I would board a flight without a good supply of hand sanitiser. Planes are truly a breeding ground for germs so before I do anything beauty related, I ensure my hands are thoroughly cleaned to avoid transferring any bacteria on to my face.

Makeup Remover Wipes

As a beauty blogger I know that makeup remove wipes aren’t the best for your skin – or the environment – and so they aren’t a feature in my every day skincare routine. However, for flights they are just so convenient. Like a hand sanitizer, you can use them from the comfort of your own seat (avoiding the cramped, dark, dingy plane bathroom), allowing quick and easy makeup removal and cleansing.

Exfoliating Pads

Like makeup wipes, exfoliating pads aren’t a regular part of the skincare routine – instead I like to exfoliate manually using a granulated face wash – but these are great to help remove grime and dead skin cells on your flight. These will create the perfect base for applying a face mask.

Sheet Mask

I love a sheet mask. I find that they tend to leave my skin looking and feeling more glowy and hydrated than if I was to use a normal face mask, and this is especially important for restoring moisture to your skin when on a flight (where the air-con can do some serious drying out!). A few years ago I wouldn’t have been confident enough to use a sheet face mask on a plane, but now, they have become so common place that the cabin crew really don’t look twice!

Under Eye Patches

Under eye patches – like mini sheet masks just for your eye area – are excellent beauty products for on the plane! Often I find my eyes dry out and become red and irritated during flights due to the lack of oxygen circulation. Eye matches are a great way to soothe and cool the area, with added anti-aging benefits. This will also minimise any under-eye bags, ensuring you look your freshest when you step off the plane!

Moisturiser

Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise! This step is so key. And moisturise your whole face! Make sure you remember your eye cream, face cream (opt for a night-time moisturiser for a thicker consistency), hand cream and lip balm. Of course, I don’t suggest you should be bringing your whole bathroom cabinet with you, instead, I always make sure I save up beauty samples and skincare sachets for flights. They tend to be the perfect size for one generous application each, so I take one of each skincare item for both the flight out and the flight back. Ingredients wise, look out for moisturisers with Hyaluronic Acid in and Vitamin C skin care in to promote collagen production and encourage radiance in your complexion.

SPF Face Cream

As we all know by now, SPF Face Cream should be an essential part of any daily skincare routine – it prevents sun damage and minimises the effect of free radicals on the skin – which is a vital step in keeping skin look youthful and plump. For a holiday, however, it is even more important to remember your SPF, especially if you will stepping out in the sun straight after your flight! Protect your skin from sun damage and it will thank you in the future, trust me.

Whatever products you choose to use on your flight, make sure you sit back, relax and enjoy the start of your holiday!
