Longline Checked Duster Coat and Flared Trousers

What do you mean, you don’t always match your outfits to your dog? How amateur! No, but really, I do have to admit that although not strictly twinning here, I did buy Sonny’s new Burberry-esque fur lined harness and matching lead because it reminded me of quite a few checked patterns I have in my wardrobe right now. Especially, I thought, my longline checked duster coat that I’m wearing alongside him here. Well, it would be rude not to follow Sonny’s sense of style, right?

Of course, we all know Sonny is absolutely not a fashion accessory. Hell, he’s the most beautiful creature in the entire world but he’s so much more than that, too. It’s just a bit of tongue-in-cheek fun as I do realise how ridiculous it is to match to my own pup… But I just can’t help it. It’s too cute!

This longline checked duster coat was a bargain from Primark, purchased with a gift card following my afternoon tea with Primark and Alex Steinheirr. Can’t beat a bit of Primarni, and even though I rarely shop there these days, I did have a £30 voucher to use and decided to spend it on this. Paired with a tan brown roll neck jumper and flared trousers, it works just as well for work as it does for play.
