First up, the state of California is definitely one to consider, and thanks to fabulous cities such as Los Angeles and San Francisco, it is easy to see why. However, thinking outside of the box, Texas is often an overlooked state, but with some amazing destinations such as Austin, Dallas and Houston, it really should be another destination to consider adding to your list.
France is definitely one of those places that you could consider going to as a destination for a holiday and while it may not be at the top of your list, it really has a lot to offer. France is known for beautiful cities such as the capital Paris, but it is also known for things such as coastal towns like Nice. There are many beautiful regions in France, and there is something to suit all types of holiday experiences and budgets. Whether you like camping or staying in top class hotels you are bound to find something.
Finland is another country that may not be open your hit list, but it definitely should be. Finland can give you glorious towns, and cultural experiences, but travelling further north will also give you snow and a chance to head over to Lapland. This can be seen as a great experience for children. You could stay in ice sculptures and explore in the snow. A wonderful experience and definitely one for the bucket list.
Iceland could also be another destination that you consider when it comes to traveling, and one major event that you may want to try and witness would be the Northern Lights. They appear at certain times of the year and if it is clear enough you will see an array of lights hit the sky. It can be a truly marvellous thing, and it is one that is added to many people’s bucket lists for sure. Aside from that you can also think about enjoying the capital that Reykjavik as well. With fantastic restaurants and bars as well as being a scenic town, there really is a lot to see and do.
New Zealand may seem like a destination far away, like Asia and Australia, but it is definitely worth adding to your bucket list for sure. New Zealand is split into two islands, North Island and South Island, and each have their own cities and natural places of beauty. If you are a film fan, then you may want to head to the sets of Lord Of The Rings films. You can visit Hobbiton and Rivendell and get up close to all of the action.
