Secret Santa Gift Ideas 2015

Have you been landed with the dreaded work’s Secret Santa scheme? Are you and your circle of mates agreeing to do a Secret Santa whip around to cut down on buying presents for everyone? I really like a good Secret Santa – it means everyone gets something and you can usually spend a little more on one person than you could if you have to scrape your pennies together to get something for everyone. If you’re looking for some ideas that are a little more luxurious than your standard candy canes and chocolate coins, here are my favourite Secret Santa Gift Ideas 2015.

I actually participated in a blogger Secret Santa this year, organised by online beauty store Just My Look. They gave us a budget of £20, which is a good amount, and paired us up with a blogger who we could send a secret gift to. I won’t tell you who I was Santa to or what I got (it’s a secret, after all!) but I was very lucky to receive the really thoughtful present above. My lovely blogger Santa clearly knows me very well – they not only included a beautiful Nars Lipstick in shade Jungle Red (they must know I wear red every day!) but they also had a little ode to my Sonny pup with these River Island pug socks. It’s such a lovely gift and I am so lucky someone thought so well about mine – thank you, little Christmas elf!

Another blogger Secret Santa I participated in this year was organised by the lovely ladies at ARK. This was part of their Christmas event (which looked amazing, but unfortunately it was the Monday after I brought Sonny home and I couldn’t bare to leave my new baby!). I picked a Motel dress for a lovely blogger I was paired with (it’s secret!) and in return I was sent this beautiful Hearts and Bows tan suedette dress, all wrapped up beautifully in my own fashionable stocking! I love this dress – it’s excellent quality and bang on trend. I can’t wait to wear it over Christmas! Thank you, Ark.

I reckon those are both lovely ideas for a lady’s secret santa present – but what about the men in your life? If you’re paired with a guy, it can be pretty hard to think of ideas (trust me – I was paired with an older man at work and racked my brains for ideas!). It can be really easy to go for aftershave or beer (guilty!) but this year I wanted to think outside the box a little. How about a luxury belt? This one from GANT is an absolutely stunning plain leather belt*. It’s a little more expensive at £60 but worth every penny and totally practical as well as being a luxury gift. GANT also has tons of other stunning gift ideas, including their famous Classic Oxford Shirts and I think this cable knit jumper is particularly festive! Their last order for delivery before Christmas is Tuesday 22nd, so make sure you decide fast if you would like something.

However, if you’re not quite comfortable picking out an exact gift for a guy (I mean – their taste can be pretty picky and who knows about sizes?!) try a special gift card. This one from SPOKE is particularly thoughtful. SPOKE do made to measure mens trousers – so you can be sure your man can get himself something that fits – and have brought out a fab Christmas gift card this year… The card comes with a measuring tape, so the guy can order his exact size and choose which style of chino he likes himself! It’s a really lovely idea and I love these red cotton chinos – although I reckon it would be a bit of a risk if I bought them for a guy myself! Bet let him choose, right?

Finally, a secret santa gift that can never do wrong is a classic Christmas jumper! This one made it’s way to me in the post from the little elves at USC (I am just so in love with those guys right now!) and is a sweater, so a bit of a modern twist on the jumper. It’s a Rock and Rags beauty and says ‘get your jingle on’ in festive red and gold. It’s super comfortable and actually I’ve been wearing it loads; not only because it’s Christmassy, but because Sonny loves to snuggle into it and he doesn’t get his little claws caught on any wool!
