London is full of exciting and unique opportunities. Victorian Bath House 

While thousands of British bars have undoubtedly been struggling, it’s been noted that themed bars and pubs are the future because they offer customers something that’s completely brand new. This is something London’s Victorian Bath House understands completely, offering a range of diverse and exciting experiences that simply can’t be found anywhere else. 

Located near Liverpool Street, the by appointment only bar was built in 1895, originally purposed as a Turkish bath. Today, the bar has grounded itself in that theme, restoring it all instead of completely overhauling the aesthetic. Ornate oriental tiling and private booths are perfect for Instagramming; all while sampling some of the finest cocktails, vintage infusions and cuisine London has to offer. 

The Bletchley

Sticking once again with the theme of historically themed bars, The Bletchley is aptly named after Bletchley Park, the 19thCentury estate which became the home of World War II codebreakers and cryptographers, including the famed Alan Turing. By breaking the Nazi’s enigma code, they shortened the war by an estimated two to four years. The Bletchley bunkers down in the historicity of their name, and admirably refuses to back down. 

For example, visitors make their order by using WWII enigma machines and Sherlock’s deduction principles. This then instructs mixologists on how to craft the customer’s perfect, personalised cocktail. Thereafter, the recipe remains a secret between the customer and the agent, adding an exciting  andoriginal flare to the often mundane and tedious process of orders and refills. The Four Quarters 

The Four Quarters has two venues in London; one in East London’s Hackney Wick and the other situated in Peckham. Both have a retro vibe that becomes immediately apparent on entry, with a colourful and vibrant décor laced throughout the buildings. The Four Quarters is also filled with an intriguing range of classic arcade games, like Pac Man, Time Crisis 2 and Space Invaders – just to further accentuate that cool and quirky atmosphere. 

Both venues are arguably a more casual setting when compared to the luxury cocktails and luxury of the last two items. Still, The Four Quarters has a lot to offer for a relaxing and fun-filled evening at the bar, so be sure to head on down.
