You guys know I love to travel. Hopping on a plane is super easy and gives me a quick weekend city break fix when I need it, and often I grab a train after work to see my uni friends that are spread out across the UK in London, Birmingham and Newcastle. However, there is something really fun about a good old fashioned road trip and having recently just finished working for a company where I drove a long 40 mile round trip to and from work every day, I am now falling back in love with getting in my car for fun just for weekend adventures.Europe is home to some of the most iconic road trips around the world and Kwik Fit have recently produced an eBook exploring six of Europes most scenic road trips to get us all inspired. So, thanks to their #RoadTripsOfEurope campaign, they’ve got me thinking about my dream European road trip.

Although Kwik Fit have named some of their top routes as the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse in Austria – a scenific high alpine mountain pass that winds through the iconic Austrian Alps – and Route 500 in German that winds through the beautiful Black Forest – I have been inspired elsewhere.

In fact, if you follow me on social media you might have noticed that I have recently started a new job working for a luxury Swiss watch brand. Our international head office is based in Geneva and as a result I am finding myself day dreaming of a road trip across Switzerland. In fact, we recently had some colleagues from the Swiss head office join us for a week and they were telling us that many employees travel the French-Swiss boarder every day for work… Imagine how amazing taking a ferry to France would be and then roadtripping through the French countryside into Switzerland. How beautiful?!
