Boohoo’s Do Nothing Club at Trevor Sorbie Manchester

As I always bang on, I am so proud to live in a city that is so fashion-forward. There are so many great fashion brands that have come from Manchester, high-end and high-street, and one that has done so massively well worldwide is Boohoo. So, when I had the chance to meet the team and experience their latest collection of summer clothing – not to mention alongside having a pamper session at Trevor Sorbie Salon in Manchester – I jumped at the chance. New holiday look here I come!

As Boohoo are based in Manchester city centre, it only made sense that they held this intimate blogger event there too, and so Trevor Sorbie salon in Spring Gardens (right around the corner from Market Street) was a great choice of location. Being welcomed with canapes, mini popcorn cartons and of course, prosecco, I was introduced to the lovely Boohoo team led by the ever-wonderful Stacey. I was made to feel so comfortable and welcomed – in fact, it felt a bit like visit the beauty salon with my friends!

With an edited collection of Boohoo’s top Summer 2017 clothes on offer, we were asked to browse the items and choose our favourite for Boohoo to share on their social media (over 2.6million followers on Instagram no less!). It was hard to choose as so many key SS17 trends were featured, including embroidery, pop poms and gingham. It was like summer on a rail!

After browsing the collection, we were invited to receive a bit of pampering at the salon. I opted to have my hair curled – who knew you could extra curl curly hair – and the stylists at Trevor Sorbie were so great. They used a thin wand to wrap my ringlets around to give extra structure and volume, something I have never tried before but something I will now try again! I can’t wait to go back to the salon for my complimentary cut and blow dry that I received in my goodie bag – an added bonus!

Thank you to the lovely team at Boohoo for inviting me along to celebrate the start of summer. I now can’t wait to go on my holidays and will definitely be checking out their website for a spot of summer holiday shopping… Pomp oms and embroidered and gingham, oh my!
