Being a Pug Momma means spoiling your Pug Baby, utterly and truly. My baby boy Sonny is the most precious angel on earth and is so gentle, loving, cheeky and clever that he definitely deserves it. As part of this, I try and take him everywhere I can with me and when there’s an event catering especially for puglets like him, I simply must attend! So, in true Pug Momma style, yesterday we attended Pugfest Manchester 2017.
Pugfest is a charity event which travels around the UK, raising money for, well, pug charities! Yesterday it was it’s first turn in Manchester, this time arriving at Media City, Salford Quays. With over 4,000 humans in attendance and 1,000 pugs, it was a film-themed event which featured a red carpet (yes, Sonny and I walked it) and celebrities in attendance such as Simon Cowell, Marlyin Monroe and the cast of Star Wards (well, their lookalikes at least!).
I have to admit, I love being a pug owner not just for the joy that Sonny brings me, but for how social it is. Pug owners love other pugs and pug owners. I have truly never met a pug owner who isn’t lovely and we all love to chat together. Pugs themselves are the sweetest companion and even in an outdoor arena packed full of over a thousand pugs crowded in closely, there was no barking, yapping or fighting, just love.
