Poppy Sloane PS Makeup: Tres Chic Mascara

As today is National Lash Day 2019, I thought it only fitting that today’s blog post come to you in the form of a mascara review, from up-and-coming beauty brand Poppy Sloane. Poppy Sloane – PS well behaved make up – has relaunched its Tres Chic Mascara with a new vegan formulation, perfect for those who opt for cruelty-free makeup. (Previously, this product was cruelty free but did include beeswax). It now also includes Bamboo, which is an anti-microbial ingredient to reduce the risk of eye infections, and helps to increase volume to the lashes.

Unlike other mascaras, Tres Chic Mascara is designed to ‘wrap’ product around each lash rather than ‘coating’ the lashes, which creates a waterproof ‘tube’ around each lash. Unusually – and somewhat ironically – despite being waterproof, this mascara actually includes a unique formulation which means that it can also be remove using just water! Simply make sure you use plenty of warm water and apply some light friction. At £15, it is a reasonable price for an unusual product and certainly good to try if you’re looking for a vegan, cruelty free mascara to try this National Lash Day 2019!
