Everyone has a signature scent or two. One you wear for work, one you wear for nights out. Or maybe you have one you always wear for a ladies lunch, or one you wear for date night. Heck, there’s so much choice in fragrance that we are allowed to indulge in our favourite scents for our favourite occasions, and I have to confess that when it comes to a romantic dinner and drinks with my other half, YSL Black Opium Perfume is the one for me.
As it’s name suggests, YSL Black Opium Perfume is described as a ‘new glam rock fragrance full of mystery and energy’ and it’s packaging truly reflects that. It smells as seductive as it looks and has a definite mature fragrance about it, perhaps helped by the ingredients of Black Coffee, Pink Pepper and Jasmine. If you like Jimmy Choo but find their scent too strong, then this is a great alternative for you.
With prices from £42.50 – £70ish, it’s not cheap but if you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day Treat then this is a great idea. I personally love receiving perfumes on special occasions as different scents truly have the ability to remind us to vividly of people or memories we love; just a sniff can take you back to a moment in an instance. And that’s why I think YSL Black Opium Perfume is a wonderful choice for date night this February.
