Grey Sequin Fair Isle Jumper and Knee High Boots

Sequins are for life, not just for December, right? And so even though the festive season is over, I still have zero intention of stopping wearing my sparkly knitwear. In fact, my dad actually had the audacity to call this a ‘Christmas Jumper’?! I think not, father, it is simply a piece of oversized knitwear with a sprinkly of sequins in a fair isle pattern. Just that, and nothing more.

This is pretty much a go-to casual weekend outfit for me. A pair of black leggings for optimal comfort, a pair of boots to hide my jazzy (and often mismatched) weekend socks and a pair of shades to conceal the fact I can’t be bothered wearing more than a slick of lipstick on a Saturday, oh and the disapproving look of when a man tries to talk to me outside of his turn. The cheek.

It’s a damn comfortable and slouchy outfit to wear, the sequins just make it look like I’m making more of an effort that I am – and that’s the advantage of a sequin jumper. They’re not just for Christmas.
