When Fashion Meets Homewear

For me, Fashion and Lifestyle go hand in hand. Fashion is a lifestyle, right? You are your style and that transcends through what you wear, what you do, and how to decorate your space. Making your home your own is so important and you guys will know from my previous interior décor posts that I like to surround myself with beautiful, bold and elaborate décor that represents my own style in my home.

Although I have a specific taste and know what makes my interior-décor-clock tick, there’s never been a homewear brand or designer that’s really resonated with me. I know minimalisim is all the range and whilst I LOVE Scandi style, it’s just not how I would choose to have my home. I like bright colours, outrageous patterns and a feel of luxury that I can recreate in my boudoir.

I’m at the stage in life where I am getting ready to buy my own place (well, I’m saving!). It’ll be a while yet but there’s nothing I enjoy more than planning out my dream house; how it looks, how it feels. On my quest to expand my Home Inspiration board on Pinterested, I discovered that one of my fav fashion designer, Henry Holland, is set to collaborate with Habitat to create what can only be described as my ideal homewear range. Can you say, ‘perfect’?

Coming from Greater Manchester too, Henry Holland has always been one of my fashion idols; his ability to be 100% himself is inspiring and his collections are always so unique. It makes me so proud to see Manchester style be thrown out all over the fashion world, and now the home design world, too! His designs are so fun that only the bravest fashion-lovers can wear them! Honestly, I just kinda feel I can relate to Henry, for whatever reason.

To celebrate the collection, Habitat are hosting a celeb-packed party to get our juices flowing, and they’re offering you the chance to win a ticket, too! Plus, although we each have our own distinctive style, we all have a love for bold colours, bright patterns and an eye for something a bit different… Pretty ‘Henry Holland’, huh?
