Khaki Trousers and Monochrome Print

Spring is here and the lightweight trousers are out! Not one to get my legs out easily, I love a good pair of coloured trousers for the warmer months, and these Khaki Trousers (I almost want to say  ‘combat trouser’s, but that’s a bit too 90’s) are ideal for whacking on either with a pair of canvas flats or a set of heels. In this case, I went for the latter, and decided to wear this look as work appropriate.

As the trousers (actually super cheap from Eles Clothing, which were delivered so quickly!) are the main point of colour in the outfit, I wanted to compliment them with monochrome detail. I chose this black and white palm print blouse (from Matalan, a few years ago) as I thought it matched the Summer theme without being too out there. Plus, it happened to go perfectly with my beloved New In Chevron Print Rocket Dog heels, which have the most lovely black and white print.

In fact, you might have seen the accessories I’m wearing in my April Favourites blog post. The heels and mini Marc B handbag are current loves, and with my all-time-forever-favourite-love (Sonny my pug) in towe, it worked out nicely that his posh new bow tie matched the bag.
