Move over Mac, there’s a new matte lipstick on the scene. The new lip colour collection in drugstore land are the Avon Perfectly Matte Lipsticks, which are heralded as a dupe for Mac’s matte range and after trying three of their new shades out myself, I can confirm that they are damn close in terms of colour pay-off, shades and pigmentation but at a fraction of the price. Typically these will save you around a tenner and are currently on offer for just £5.50 each, which is a right bargain.
I have the colours Red Supreme, Wild Cherry and Fuschia (from left – right) and if you have to invest in any three lipsticks this summer, I would definitely recommend these. From a classic pillar box red, to a deep berry red to a bright pink with a flattering blue undertone, these are must have, classic lipsticks for any skin tone.
