National Bikini Day with Swimwear365

Summer might be coming to an end but there’s still enough time to slip into your swimwear one last time, at least. To give you a little winter sun inspiration, let me tell you about my day celebrating National Bikini Day 2016 with Swimwear 365; a beautiful sunny event that has kept my swimwear wish list growing all year round!

On 5^th July 1946, the iconic bikini was created – and heck, who hasn’t worn at least one bikini in their life that’s not left them feeling incredible?! To celebrate, Swimwear365 – an all year round online swimwear store – invited some top fashion bloggers (oh, and little old me!) to one of my most favourite hidden places in Manchester; Great John Street Hotel.

High up on the boutique hotel, Swimwear365 greeted us onto the exclusive sunny rooftop. With views over the whole of the city, it was the perfect place to watch the sunset. Welcome with champagne and BBQ snacks, it was the perfect place to get into the holiday mood and browse some beautiful bikinis.

With a range of one pieces, two pieces, tankinis, dress-kinis (is that a thing?!) and cover-ups, Swimwear365 really do have something for everyone. I was lucky enough to receive the 1950’s pinup style swimsuit below which I wore on my summer holiday to Nice. I’ve had so many compliments on it and I already have my eye on a couple more from the site. Now, just to book my next holiday…
