Make Your Lips Pop this Summer with Clinique Colour Pop Lipsticks

Fancy making your lips pop this Summer? Then how about trying the Clinique Colour Pop Lipsticks. Although Clinique is widely known for their clinical skincare, I personally love them best for their bold range of colour cosmetic makeup – the Colour Pop collection.

Consisting of lip, cheek and eye products, the originals – and still my favourites – were the Colour Pop lipsticks (official name being Clinique Pop™ Lip Colour and Primer), and today I’m sharing with you my top 3 Clinique Colour Pop Lipsticks for Summer 2017.

From top to bottom, the first Clinique Pop Lip Colour and Primer lipstick I can’t live without is Passion Pop. This is my all time favourite Colour Pop shade and I wear it all year round, as good in Winter for a festive red lip as in summer for a bright summery statement lip. This is a true blue-red, classic shade and for summer it’s perfect paired with a winged liner look and mascara on the top lashes only.

In the middle is Colour Pop’s Raspberry Pop – much less like a Raspberry colour and more like a mauve pink. It’s a good few shades up from a nude pink but subtle enough that you could wear with a bold eye look and not look ‘too’ OTT! It’s a great everyday shade.

Finally, the last swatch is Clinique Pop Lip Colour and Primer lipstick in Cherry Pop. And yes, you guessed it, it’s a timeless cherry red colour. Unlike Passion Pop, it has orange undertones so is brighter on the skin and great for those with warm coloured skin. I personally like to wear this as a statement with minimal other makeup and just one coat of mascara to really make my lips pop.
