Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion and Luminous Silk Foundation

Giorgio Armani are one of the most renown high end fashion designer brands in the world, with celebrity fans, millions of followers and the most beautiful portfolio of accessories and clothing garments. In recent years, they have also delved into the Beauty scene and have gained a reputation for such premium quality in the makeup industry too. After trialling their offering in the form of the Georgio Armani Lip Magnets and being overwhelmingly impressed, I decided to indulge in their Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion and Luminous Silk Foundation to see how their face products hold up to their luxurious name.

The Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion foundation comes in beautiful, sleek packaging reminiscent of the luxury fashion brand with an unusual pipette applicator. Although I usually apply my foundations with a complexion sponge, for this one I take exception and apply directly with my hands. It makes it totally easy to create a flawless coverage. At £40 it’s the most expensive foundation I own, but it’s price tag is justified by it’s excellent colour matching, it’s feather light matte finish and it’s ability to blend so well into the skin; looking natural but also totally flawless.

Now, the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation has to be my favourite of the two… And possibly, wait for it, in my Top 3 Foundations ever! It’s formula is a lightweight yet with enough pigment to cover any redness or blemishes, and contains oil-free hydrating fluid with exclusive Micro-fill technology which leaves it feeling silky on the skin. It’s range of shades is excellent (from the very light to the dark) and is only slightly pricier than your Estee Lauder Double Wear family at £37 it’s totally worth it’s price tag for me. I will continue to repurchase this baby.
