Lookfantastic June 2016 Beauty Box #LFJetSetter

Well, hello June! Can you believe it’s officially summer already? And now holiday season is here, it’s time to start thinking about what travel minis to pack in our suitcase. So, it seems like perfect timing that the Lookfantastic June 2016 Beauty Box #LFJetSetter is themed appropriately, containing all beauty products the perfect size for popping in your hand luggage!

As with all Lookfantastic Beauty Boxes, the June 2016 #LFJetSetter box contains an exclusive Beauty Box magazine full of hints and tips for looking and feeling your best on holiday. I love to flick through this on my lunch break and get my beauty tips fix! Each month you also recieve a free Elle magazine, which means you basically subscribe to two services but only pay from £11.25 a month for the Beauty Box. Bargain!

So, what’s inside? Without a doubt the #LFJetSetter has to be one of my favourite boxes so far. Not only is it’s design super chic and fit for a jet setting babe, but it’s products are perfect for popping in your overnight bag. There’s products for your face, body and even your smile to get you holiday-ready.

In this month’s box, you get two face items perfect for popping in your travel bag. Firstly, the Oxygenating Cream Moisturiser fromNAOBAY (Natural And Organic Beauty And You) is the ideal face base for your holidays. This can be used day and night and is a completely natural moisturiser, containing ingredients such as Rosehip Oil to care for your face in or after the sun.

We are also lucky enough to get the Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream in Lookfantastic’s #LFJetSetter box, which costs £49 full size. This is a lovely luxury eyecream by the famous French pharmaceuticals brand, and I would say this is my favourite product from this month’s box. It’s such a perfect size for taking away with you for a few weeks.

To add a little colour to your skin, #LFJetSetter contains a bit of tan for both your face and body. To even out your skintone and add some SPF protection to your face, this month we get theDead Sea Spa Magik Diamond Range BB Cream SPF 15. It’s a lightweight formula perfect for popping on for the beach or on holiday when you don’t want to wear much makeup. I call it the ‘no makeup, makeup’.

For your body, there is the Tan Organic Self Tan Oil, which is the first oil fake tan I have ever tried. This goes on like a lightweight oil serum for your face, but is to be used all over your body to give a streak-free fake tan. Obviously fake bake is way safer than frying your skin in the sun, and this is a lovely 25ml size for popping in your travel bag to give you a bit of extra colour on your hols. As a pale baby,  I’m pretty nervous to try out fake tans in case of a streaking nightmare, but I gave this one a go and never looked back! I will 100% be purchasing the full size – it goes on evenly, doesn’t streak, gives a lovely bronzed colour (not orange!) and is moisturising on the skin. I think I might be a fake tan convert now.

Bodycare wise, a handvcream is always welcome in my overnight bag and this 50ml size of the Cowshed Cow Pat Moisturising Hand Cream has gone straight in my suitcase. Similarly, the Korres Basil Lemon Showergel will come in pretty handy for a few nights away; a luxury shower gel to cleanse the skin and refresh with a citrus scent.

The final item (or three items) in the Lookfantastic June 2016 Beauty Box #LFJetSetter are three packets of Mr Blanc’s Teeth Whitening Strips. These teeth whitening strips work to whiten your teeth in 30 minutes and are ideal for popping in your overnight bag – ideal for brightening your pearly whites before a night out. I have given mine a go and can definitely see results; I simply popped a strip on my teeth whilst I was in the bath, took it off after half an hour and my teeth were visibly whiter. It had definite results in such a quick amount of time, that you really can’t argue with. I love that this box has let me discover Mr Blanc and I will also be buying the full size version of this.

To recap, I am always a fan of the Lookfantastic Beauty Box but #LFJetSetter has got to be up there with one of the best I have received. I have used every product and already have a wishlist of several items that I plan to repurchase, such as the teeth whitening strips and the fake tan. It really goes to show that #LFJetSetter has everything you need in it to get you ready for your hols, and is testament to the fact that the Lookfantastic Beauty Box is the perfect platform for discovering new brands and products.
