Change Lingerie Chester

I like the finer things in life. I like looking killer in a good pair of heels and I like wearing a new lipstick that makes me feel fierce. The same goes for my underwear – whether I’m just popping to the shops or meeting friends for a night out, I like to feel my best and part of that is being matchy-matchy in the knickers and bra department. Tell me you don’t feel powerful when you’ve picked out a pair of undies that go together just right?! So, in my ever-growing pursuit of the perfect pair, I checked out Change Lingerie Chester, a lingerie store that sells a huge range of luxury underwear, swimwear, nightwear, sportswear and shapewear both online and in store across a wide range of countries.

A lover of the matchy-matchy underwear, the first items I tried from Change were the Leika Padded Bra* and co-ordinating Hipser Briefs*. Although the bra itself is ‘padded’ I wouldn’t refer to it as a push-up bra – instead the cups hold you neatly in place and help give your chest a subtle lift, all whilst being comfortable enough for daily wear. For the bra, I sized up a cup of the recommendation of Change, as they said that these bras typically fit a little smaller; the insight into the fit of each different set on the website is a great indication at the knowledge of the staff, and a great trait when shopping for something as personal as a bra. Similarly, the briefs are a lovely comfortable fit and the silk material of both feels great against the skin.

The rose-tan colour of the set with angel-wing coloured lace embroidery make it something a little more special than your average lingerie set – it’s not ‘all out there, date night’ ensemble, but it’s sophisticated and feminine and I find the perfect combination to make you feel great underneath your normal work clothes. The items are photographed here before I wore them to make sure they look clean and new(!) but after trying them out for a few weeks (not consecutively, of course!) I can assure you they both look and feel great.

As well as being happy to spend a little more on better fitting lingerie, I am also willing to go the extra mile with swimwear. As someone who only wears a swimming cossie on a beach, looking and feeling good in next-to-nothing is really one of my main concerns whilst on holiday. Heck, you don’t wanna be worrying about an unflattering bikini line when all you’re trying to do is catch a tan on your hols! For something a little more glam, I tried out the Miami Resort Style swimsuit* from Change Lingerie. This is a black, one piece swimsuit with large cutaway detail – often referred to as a ‘monokini’, not to be confused with a ‘mankini’!

Again, this a beautiful luxury item that makes me really feel fantastic. Although the cutaway sections (pictured above the statement back detail)  is sure to turn heads, the black colour makes sure it remains sophisticated and subtly understated. This is really a very glamorous swimsuit – I kinda felt like a Bond Girl in it and kinda loved it!
Each of these items from Change Lingerie Chester have earned themselves a permanent place in my much covered lingerie cupboard and I have been wearing the lingerie set regularly. Change are really passionate about their items, able to recommend styles to suit and make suggestions based on personal preferences, which I really appreciate.
