Faux Fur Leopard Print Coat

I feel like no matter how old I get, I’ll always have a secret love affair with leopard print. Ever since being little it’s always been my go-to print – unashamedly my old bedroom decor was ALL very leopard print – and although my home decor tastes have matured, I still can’t leave the leopard print coat behind. If you’ve been reading my blog for a long time, you’ll have come to know and love this Faux Fur Leopard Print Coat as though it was my child. And besides from Sonny, it may as well be!

I have been known to clash prints with my leopard print coat but now I am maturing in my fashion sense (kinda) I know it’s best to keep the rest of the outfit simple. I went for a black mini skirt and sparkly turtle neck (okay, not that simple but it’s the most minimalist I could do!), paired with black tights.

To pick up some colours of the faux fur leopard print coat, I wore dark brown boots instead of my usual black and popped on a gold rope necklace. These help to bring a bit of cohesion to the neutral colours. Plus the necklace helps to draw a line down the middle of my body, which is a much more flattering silhouette than had I just been a big dark chub ball underneath!
