Snakeskin Lounge Suit with Black Blazer

Since things got particularly tough this summer, you might have noticed that outfit posts have become few and far between. That’s for a number of reasons; I’ve been preoccupied, the world is bigger than Instagram and above all, I quite simply can’t be arsed getting dressed up so a load of strangers on the internet can look at me. Nah, I’ll pass! I’m sure I’ll get back into it, of course, but for now, I’m simply trying to get through the world week, and at weekends, I choose substance (well, comfort) over style… Like this snake print lounge suit!

Thie loungewear set was another bargain from Femme Luxe Finery and although is just as comfrtable as the name suggests, actually looks quite smart. Better then expected, really! I wore this on my last visit to see my sister in Greenwich and I even had a couple of random strangers compliment me on the street on it – two women, in fact. And if that’s not the type of femme-empowering-energy that I want to now channel for the rest of the year, then I’m wasting my time.

To smarten up the look and add a drop of my signature style, I popped a blazer over my shoulders and was good to go!
