Hey kittens, today’s blog post is well and truly in the spirit of ‘Cyber Weekend’. Since Black Friday kicked off the deals before the weekend I’m pretty sure y’all will have had a quick look at the stores already, but if you’ve managed to resist being swept up into the sales so far, above are my top discount picks from the Cyber Monday sales today (especially when ASOS has a cheeky 20% off everything!).

Aside from looking out for sales, I’m a fan of a good discount card. I like to know that wherever possible, I can save a couple of pounds and it doesn’t make me feel so bad about splashing out a little more. Heck, we work hard, so we’re allowed to treat ourselves now and again! Today I will be showing you two of my favourite discount cards that I use to pick up bargains – especially on lifestyle and beauty bits (my top pick of home and cosmetics Cyber Monday bargains are also below).

The first is City Card. City Card* is a Manchester based discount card, offering local discounts on restaurants, bars, salons and attractions, costing £38.50 for 6 months. Y’all know I love my hometown and am a fan of a good day out, so saving up to 50% on a fine dining meal is a big thumbs up from me. My top picks from City Card Manchester are 20% food discount offered at top Italian restaurant, Rosso, for a special occassion; or if you are feeling a little more chill, head to Black Dog Ballroom in the Norther Quarter for 25% off your meal – I can personally recommend the chocolate milkshakes there too!

My second discount card of choice is the new Fabyouless card* (clever name, huh?). Although the City Card does offer some beauty discounts, Fabyouless is really the specialist in this, promoting up to 25% off or 2 for 1 on your fav salon treatments. This card costs £49.95 and is valid for 12 months. It might seem pricey at first but when you consider how much gel nails cost (up to £30 – £40) and how often these are typically redone (every 2 – 3 weeks) there are definitely savings to be had!
