Outfit of the Day: Galaxy Print & Purple Disco Pants

Hey kittens!

Welcome to this week’s Outfit of the Day video  – a very cosmic look (cosmic… galaxy… geddit?) 

The main focus of the outfit has to be this amazing galaxy print blazer that I picked up in the New Look sale. I am obsessed with it and even wear it to work! I think it instantly picks up any plain outfit and when chosen with the right coloured items – admittedly, I do choose to wear just black and white with it for work – it really isn’t too much at all. 

However, when paired with these stunning purple disco pants from Pop Couture, I feel the whole look is just boosted up a notch. Everyone (me, included) is raving about disco pants at the moment and the trend is set to continue well into 2013. Personally, the American Apparel originals are just far too out of budget for me, so I was delighted to see that Pop Couture do a very reasonable alternative – and in some stunning colours, too! My Mac Cyber’s lipstick and market-thrifted necklace also helped to compliment the deep, warm purple theme.

As I was in danger of become a bit too colour-happy, I had to tone down the outfit a bit with a plain shirt; this Dorothy Perkins smock number was the perfect fit (literally!). I also went with black accessories, using my stunning Vivienne Westwood handbag that I was so generously purchased as a Christmas gift and my fierce spike loafers from my favourite shoe shop Cloggs. – spikes and gitter on one shoe, what more does a kitten want?
