A Golden Glow with Bondi Sands Everyday Liquid Gold

With summer just around the corner (fingers crossed), it’s time to start considering getting that golden glow. For me, self tanners aren’t the be all-and-end-all of my summer beauty routine. They’re a nice to have, but I feel just as confident getting my pasty pale legs out – whatever your skin colour, you’re bloody great – and I have never been one to slather myself in tan all year round. That being said, however, before hitting the beach or a special occasion, I do enjoy a little boost of colour to the skint to help give me a bit of a glow in a bathing suit or a summer dress. And so this Spring I’ve been trying out Bondi Sands Everyday Liquid Gold Tanning Oil ahead of the Summer season.

Suitable for being applied with a tanning mitt (Bondi Sands do their own affordable version, or you can use your own old favourite if you prefer), the Bondi Sands Everyday Liquid Gold is a tanning oil suitable for, well, every day use! This means that you won’t get an immediate result, but the tan will develop gradually over 2 – 3 hours to leave you with a subtle natural glow. For me, this is ideal. I personally like to apply it before going to bed (the oil sinks into the skin and leaves it feeling hydrating and soft), for me to then wake up with a natural looking tan the next morning. The application is quick, simple and fits in well with my lifestyle.

Bondi Sands are available from most drugstores and beauty shops, both online and offline – Boots and Superdrug are probably your best bit if looking around town – and for between £8-£15ish for a bottle of their tan it’s a great price for a high quality product. As someone who is really choosey about their self tans, saving them ‘for best’ use only, the Bondi Sands Everyday Liquid Gold Tanning Oil is a great option for me. Affordable, natural glow, no orange, no streaks and no biscuit smell; in fact, it’s made me want to try more!
