Alice In Wonderland Urban Decay Collection

I’m just gonna get straight into this – forget the fancy intros today, the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Collection is just as fantastical as one would imagine. Urban Decay are one of  my all-time favourite makeup brands, not least for being cruelty-free, but for their incredible quality, excellent staying power and above all, their continuous creativity and originality.

To celebrate the launch of the new Alice in Wonderland 2 film, Urban Decay have harnessed Tim Burton (another love of mine’s!) mystical aesthetic and applied it to a wonderfully colourful and crazy makeup collection. With a set of inventive lipstick colours and beautiful eyeshadow palette, Urban Decay are setting the standards high for brand collaborations, in true signature style.

Although the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland eyeshadow palette has been receiving most of the critical acclaim from the collection, I think their lipsticks are just as groundbreaking. With shades of blue, sparkly purple and pale orange, these lipsticks are really out of the ordinary! For those who aren’t quite brave enough to try a bright colour, Urban Decay have also included a red and mauve for peace of mind (okay, okay, these are bright colours too, but you know what I mean!).With excellent pigmentation and lasting power as one would expect from Urban Decay, the Alice in Wonderland lipsticks are one to watch out for.

But hey, the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Eyeshadow palette really is something to behold. As a huge Urban Decay fan, I know them for their incredible quality and this one does not disappoint. The Alice in Wonderland palette is just stunning, it really is a spectacle, but it’s not just style over substance. Each of the colours inspired by the iconic film are highly pigmented and long-lasting. There’s a whole range of the brighter, more playful colours and also a range of neutrals to blend in with them, which really helps to make the look more longlasting.

Honestly, this is a beautiful collection and if you are looking for something different for a gift, or simply want to update your cosmetics collectables, then this is for you.
