Aztec Co-ord Shorts Set

It might be September but I’m not letting summer yet. Not just yet, anyway, as I really wanted to share this Outfit of the Day that I wore whilst on my recent summer holiday. These photos were taken in Barcelona, in a lovely little square just off La Ramblas. I know you can’t see much of my Mediterranean surroundings in the photo, but I feel like the colour of the stone slabs of the floor and buildings behind just look ‘holiday’ish, right? So my new Aztec Co-ord Shorts Set seemed like the perfect exotic holiday outfit of the evening.

You guys know I love a good co-ord set in summer, and this one has to be one of my favourites ever. It’s just so unusual! One of the things I love most about smaller online stores, like LilyLuLu, is their boutique feel. You aren’t going to be finding the same sort of things are in other stores and so your purchases feel a lot more unique. I’ve certainly never seen an aztec print co-ord set like this before; the material is just so unusual and the fit is gorgeous – little details like the fringing over the crop top and cutaway back just make this set stand out from the crowd.

In fact, LilyLulu has tons of great items in right now for Autumn Winter and I am feeling a little spendy. I swear they haven’t even asked me (or paid me!) to write any of this but I am just really up for supporting my local stores, and as a Manchester based online fashion store, there’s just something about LilyLulu I love.

Anyway, it’s getting a little chillier now – so I might have to book my next holiday before I get to wear this set again. Fingers crossed it won’t be too far off…
