Another week, another coat. Don’t worry, you guys have seen this baby blue duster coat before (last Spring!) and it’s coming into it’s own again now we’re entering further into the season. Although we’re no where near being able to wear summer clothes, just being able to pop on a coat in a pastel shade instantly helps to brighten up my day (even if it’s not that bright outside!).
I orginally bought this coat from Marks and Spencer (I know – can you believe it?!) two years ago and even then it was in the sale, so there’s little chance of finding it around now. However the baby blue duster coat is still high in the fashion stakes and so there’s tons of dupes around, both lower and higher end versions depending on your budget. I found this cacoon shaped pale blue coat in House of Fraser for £110, or for a bargainous £30 this blue ASOS coat, which are both quite similar.
Underneath the coat, I’m wearing a floral shirt which just nicely picks out the shades of blue in the coat. I usually wear this coat open rather than buttoned, so I always like to have a bit of subtle detail hiding behind it. My Momma actually bought this blouse for me for Christmas from Warehouse – didn’t she do a good job?!
