Benefit Cosmetics are unquestionably one of my favourite make-up brands. Aside from producing brilliant high-end products, I am a sucker for their 1950’s esque packaging (it just SPEAKS to me) and their staff are always way, way more friendly than most other luxury make-up artists. are one of my favourite brands. So, when this little pre-launch present of their new Puff Off arrived in my postbox, I was pretty excited. (Side note: the name makes me cringe!)

So, what is Puff Off? Puff Off (£22.50) is an under-eye gel that is squeezed out of the tube and applied using the iron (yes, literally ironing out under eye bags – clever!) on your under eyes. It has a pink-toned, shimmery, thin consistency, and to be honest I wasn’t sure whether to use it before or after foundation at first. However, after attending the Roller Lash launch on Saturday, I asked a Benebae and she told me you could mix it in with whatever products you like – she recommended your usual under eye-concealer. 

I don’t usually use a concealer under my eyes as, fingers crossed, I don’t usually get bad eye bags, but I have been popping this on over foundation. It does brighten my eyes up (not hugely, but it definitely adds some light) but mostly I love the way it feels. It is SO cooling – the iron isn’t just a novelty applicator, it feels amazing when using it and is the perfect shape.
