Shopping Break at Bill’s Restaurant Manchester Trafford Centre

Last weekend I visited Bill’s Restaurant in Manchester Trafford Centre. Located in the busy food court area, Bill’s is easy to find and provides the perfect mid-shopping break when your legs are aching and you need to refuel! Despite it’s central location, when you sit inside at Bill’s you could almost forget you were in the Trafford Centre. It’s décor is just the same quirky style as any other Bill’s and they still too sell their bespoke confectionery just as in any other of their restaurants.

As you have to drive to the Trafford Centre, I had to unfortunately decline a nice glass of wine and – shock horror! – opted for a soft drink instead. I went for Bill’s pink lemonade, which was tangy and refreshing. My friend opted for their Super Green Smoothie to top up her energy for shopping ‘til she dropped. It contained kale, spinach, coconut water and a whole host of other healthy ingredients to give her a boost!

To start, we shared a Veggie Platter between us. This was definitely a good decision as it contained a whole host of vegetarian goodies in a generous portion size. In fact, this could probably do you as your whole meal! Treats on this platter included batter halloumi, garlic mushrooms, homemade nachos, hummus, falafel and more. I would definitely get this again next time!

For main courses, I went for a Halloumi Burger because, well, halloumi is truly the best. For this, grilled halloumi came on a brioche burger bun with roasted peppers, rocket and a flavoursome garnish. It was also served with fries, which were delicious. My friend chose Marcaroni Cheese (can you see a theme?!) which came with roast onions and in a massive portion. It was the dish that never went down, it was huge!

Although my friend told me we simply HAD to try the Chocolate Brownie for pudding, we just didn’t have the room! We were totally satisfied with our vegetarian starts and main meals and found there to be so much choice on the menu it was almost hard to choose. Over all, we had a great time at Bill’s Restaurant Manchester Trafford Centre and would definitely visit next time we are shopping at the Trafford Centre.
