Black Dungarees and Monochrome Detail

Black Dungarees, eh? The last time I wore dungarees or a romper suit I was a toddler, but I guess that as we get older we start to revert again – right? There’s something kinda fun that I’ve found about wearing these Black Dungarees and dressing them up with different monochrome patters, they’re cute, casual and perfect for a day at the pub with your pug.

The Black Dungarees go with pretty much anything; they are so easy to wear and pop on over most tops that they’re really convenient for popping together for a chilled weekend. To experiment with different patterns, I popped a Breton Striped Top from Woolovers to brighten up the underneath a little. The monochrome stripes go so well with it, and it’s made from silk and cotton so totally adds to the comfort, too!

For accessories, I popped on some grey faux snakes skin dolly shoes from Brantano; they’re easy to wear, comfortable (can you see a theme here?!) and the pointed toe adds a little bit of glamour. To finish it off, I added this statement monochrome aztec print jacket from Apricot. I thought it might look a little ‘much’ but as it’s monochrome I reckon I can get away with it. And the best bit about it? It was a bargainous £7 in the sale. You can thank me later.
