Caring for Curly Hair with Hair Xpertise

It doesn’t take a hair expert to see that I have super curly hair, but it does (kinda) take an expert to know how to care for it. Caring for curly hair has been something of a self-education journey that I have been on throughout my life and I have suffered a fair bit of trial and error through it – but my latest journey takes me to nourishing haircare brand, Hair Xpertise. Having not tried the brand before, I decided to branch out with four moisturising products that I hoped would add hydration to my curls. 

For me, the start point for any hair care routine is a regular (but not too regular) hair wash, and so I decided to try out the Hair Xpertise Argan Renew Shampoo and Hair Xpertise Argan Renew Conditioner. Both of these contain caffeine and a unique Argan Anti- Age Complex™, which aim to have energising effects on the hair. With ingredients such as nourishing Marula, the Argan Renew Shampoo and Condition aim to help protect and strengthen hair, which I find moisturising ready on my curly hair.

As a once a week treatment, I like to spray the Hair Xpertise Kera10 Treatment. I would compare it to a leave in conditioner that you spray over damp hair and leave in until next time you wish. Kera10 boasts that it features 10 hair treatments in just the one formula, which leaves a moisturising coat over the hair when sprayed on all over and combed through.

To complete my Hair Xpertise curly hair routine, I wait until my hair is nearly dry and then use a small (around half a palm size) amount of the Hair Xpertise Argan Oil to run through the ends of my hair. Hair oils are fabulous for curly hair and I swear by adding them one either overnight once a night as a deep conditioning treatment, or running them through the mid-to-ends of my hair to tame any frizz and split ends. The Hair Xpertise version also contains Vitamin E, which is a natural anti-oxidant and works to rejuvenate dry hair.
