Seeing as the 90s look is back, you might want to pair your slip with a choker. If you’re looking for a more elegant look, trade out the choker for a dainty piece of gold or silver jewellery.
Maxi dresses aren’t worn as commonly throughout the winter months, but as spring rolls around, you’ll begin to see them emerging once again. This casual dress is loose fitting and may have ruching under the bust to give it a little shape. The skirts are often lightweight and flow, reaching the floor. To add a little more shape, you can always wear these dresses with a belt – a boho style is usually preferable to match the overall aesthetic. Consider a maxi dress when the weather is fine and you’re heading out for the day, shopping with friends, going for lunch, running errands, or going on a casual date.

The variety of materials, cuts, and colours used for cocktail dresses can widely vary, so you’re going to have to know what suits you to get the best one. If you’re being on the safe side, black is a good colour to run with – the classic little black dress is perfect for most. However, you can click here to see a wider range of colours.
