The 60s and 70s are so huge right now and I’m living for this Closet London Metamorphis Blouse which is the epitome of retro chic. Traditionally I’ve always loved vintage eras a little earlier than this, with my particular interest in history going back to the 1920s – 40s, but I can’t lie, I am swept up in the magic of the 70’s right now and this paisley print geometric top is all kinds of pink and purple nostalgic goodness.
You may notice my accidental-on-purpose mistake. I’m actually wearing this Closet London Metamorphis Blouse the wrong way around. Well, let me correct myself – it’s not the ‘wrong’ way, as it feels right to me! Although this blouse is intended to be worn as a high neck blouse with back detail, I love how it looks as a pussbow shirt. I really love my neck ties and detail right now and find they really help to get a vintage look going, so in all honesty I prefer to wear it this way. I guess you could call it putting my own spin on things. Or something.
As this highly patterned blouse is deffo the main event of this outfit, I kept the rest of my garments pretty toned down. Aside from the brim detail of my fedora and hte navy blue of my bucket bag (which helps to bring out the blue of the blouse), the rest of the look is all black everrrythang. With a pair of faux leather leggings and knee high boots, you’re good to go with the 70’s trend.
