Having tried cleansing facial systems before, I wasn’t sure if there was room in my life for the FOREO LUNA Mini 2 in Petal Pink. Hey, we’ve all tried those bristly rotating brushes that exfoliate your face – and yeah, they do have a place in my skincare routine, but it’s not a daily thing. So, when I heard that the Foreo was meant to be used instead of your face flannel or towel (which I rotate through every morning and evening – making washing a right nightmare) I decided to grab one from Lookfantastic and give it a go.
Instead of systems like the Clarisonic and Magnitone which are based on a bristled brush that needs to be changed every so often, the FOREO LUNA Mini 2 is made completely of silicone. This means that the ‘bristles’ (more like carefully selected lumps and bumps) not only don’t need to be changed as they are built in, they are super hygienic and resist bacteria build-up to keep skin fresh and clean. In fact, you only have to rinse the Foreo off after using it and it’s good to go again!
The FOREO LUNA Mini 2 in Petal Pink doesn’t just look cute, it’s meant to make your skin cute too. With three different zones on the brush, the various wiggles and swiggles on it are meant to target different areas of your skin. The thinner parts are for gently cleansing sensitive areas, the thicker parts are for precision cleansing and the larger sections on the back are for targeting oiler skin. To be totally honest, I’ve not yet mastered the process of using all three touch-point sections specifically and in rhythem with it’s eight adjustable intensities, but I am sure the longer I use it, the more I will get there.
I’ve been using the FOREO LUNA Mini 2 in Petal Pink for a month now and have noticed a subtle glow to my skin. I’m lucky in that I don’t suffer badly with blemishes, but I have noticed that using the Foreo daily has helped to clean deeper into pores. Most of all, it is not an inconvenience: unlike other cleansing systems I have used, this has become part of my regular night time routine. I remove my eye make-up using a micellar water and then I add a dollop of cleanser to my damp face, before using the FOREO for a minute. It’s quick, doesn’t need to be charged often, is cleaned as I rinse off my face and fits perfectly in my bathroom cabinet. I am a convert.

This looks super pretty and is a really great idea – the price tag is a bit steep for me however, I wasn’t expecting that haha! Your photos are beautiful, glad to hear its working for you :} I’ve seen a real difference in my complexion since getting my hands on a Magnitone

I’m not gonna lie, it is expensive but it’s really working for me so I can see why it’s a little more pricey! x
