Hey kittens! It’s now only 10 days ’til the big day (eeek!) so hopefully all your main Christmas pressies should be all wrapped up. Ha – geddit?! Anyway, I’ve already covered gift ideas for him, her (and both at the same time!), best friends, beauty ideas and festive bits and bobs so far in my Christmas Guide series. Today, it’s the turn of the notorious half-friend, honorary family member: the family friend.

Designer Gift Set
Okay so, designer gift sets might not be in everyone’s budget but if your family friend has a mini-me, buying some luxury goods for their bambino is always sure to pull on the heart strings. My top baby designer pick have to be these Armani baby winter clothes – all together now: “n’awwww!”

Beauty Box
If you want to buy some beauty bits and bobs for your family friend but aren’t quite sure what to get, try buying them a subscription to a Beauty Box. That way, they get to test and trial mini sizes before they buy! My favourite is Birchbox and if you buy before Wednesday, you’ll just be in time for their limited edition December box. My top picks from this month’s box are the Sin-Care party serum (ideal for pre and post Christmas parties) and the Nail Rock Glitter, perfect for primping your paws before a festive night out.

Limited Edition Moisturiser
Every lady (and a lot of guys, actually) love a good moisturiser – especially in winter when our skin needs it most – and celeb and blogger fave, STEAMCREAM makes the perfect pretty gift. Not only is the moisturiser of professional quality, the decorative tins make beautiful presents which I like to wash and keep as trinket boxes – two in one! As y’all know, I am a fashion blogger over a beauty blogger, so when brands mix fashion with their beauty I get all excited. Topshop Make-up is a perfect example of this and I’m a huge fan of their whole range. These festive nail wraps especially make a cute festive stocking filler and are an easy peasy way of getting into nail art. I’m a fan!

Speaking of nail art – it makes for a great gift idea when you’re otherwise a little bit stuck. Everyone has nails, right?! If you think nail wraps might be a little too tricky for your mate to wrap (haha) their heads round, go for some stick-on falsies. These Little Mix inspired kits from USC are a quirky and collectable idea. I have Jesy’s set myself and will be rocking them with a LBD on New Year’s Eve.
A New Wardrobe
If your fashionable friend is always hankering for new clothes and you’re unsure what to get them – or its a bit too awkward to ask their size – get them a gift voucher from Simply Be. I recently visited the store for an event they had on and their staff were SO friendly and helpful, plus, they cater for any size. I highly recommend.
Festive Afternoon Tea
Finally, if you want to get them a special experience, buy them a voucher for some festive afternoon tea. My favourite location for a special spot of cream tea is at the Radisson Blu Edwardian (watch this space for a review coming later this week) and a voucher for a day there is sure to impress.
