I have a confession to make: after having my beautiful acrylic nails done for the first time, my natural nails have been wrecked. Yeah, they looked beautiful for three or four weeks (maybe longer – I might have eeked them out for too long!) but after? Not so much. After almost two months of breakage, ridges and hangnails, I was at a loss; despite not wearing any nail polish, taking vitamins and using what I thought was strengthening nail polish, I needed a new solution. And so I decided to see if I could learn how to grow my nails faster in just 28 days.
So, as a last resort, I decided to try the Renunail 28-day Nail Challenge – a task that sees you use the intensive Renunail Nail Strengthener treatment every day for four weeks in an effort to achieve longer, stronger and more beautiful nails.
I’m not going to lie, it didn’t look like the most glamorous challenge and I have to admit I had turned it down before in favour of pretty fake nails, but when it came down to it, I needed this challenge to help me and to test whether the strength of Renunail would truly help my nails…
So how does the challenge work? You will need to purchase the Renunail Nail Strengthener (it looks a lot like a base coat nail polish) and follow the steps over the days below:
Day 1: Apply two coats of Renunail Nail Strengthener onto clean nails, avoiding the cuticle area
Day 2-6: Continue to apply one coat of the Nail Strengthener daily for the next five days
Day 7: Remove all product from the nails with nail polish remover and repeat this process for another 3 weeks (with the whole programme lasting 28 days).
The results? I can totally verify that it has saved my nails. In the pictures above, you can see that although they aren’t the talons I once had, they are short and strong, in a nice natural shape again and finally, after two months, I am able to wear colour on them again. I was doubtful, but this challenge paid off, and I can honestly say I have faster days in 28 days thanks to the Renunail Nail Strengthener.
