Hey kittens!
Welcome to my third post as resident Fashionista for I Love Manchester. For this week’s edition, I’ve decided to show you a couple of different office looks that are totally wearable for any Mancunion fashionista!
As an office kitten myself, I sometimes find myself strugging to keep up my glamour puss image within the workplace. It can often be hard to balance trends in an appropriately formal way, so I’ve rounded up a couple of office-chic looks that can be worn almost anywhere whilst still remaining fierce and fashionable.
Block colours are an easy way to brighten up an otherwise plain look. Keep things simple by sticking to primary colours and complimenting them with blacks and whites – we don’t want to go too mental! It’s an easy enough look to get your paws on, too, as high street stores are full of coloured chinos and blazers for the new Spring season. Keep the patterns plain, the shapes simple and remember only to clash your colours in order to rock this trend in the office.
As in my last post, Monochrome is a trend for those of y’all who aren’t that big on mixing and matching colours; monochrome. Black, whites and greys are the perfect way to “do” Spring without getting in a colour fluster and are even more appropriate for the workplace! Monochrome is the perfect transitional trend to take us all from Winter to Spring (especially in Manchester, where the whether is always on the rainy side of unpredictable), and of course can be dressed up and down to your hearts’ content!
So kittens, which look would you rock in the office? Are you a colourful cat or a monochrome maiden? Or are you going to try your paws at both this Spring? Let me know in the comments below. And don’t forget to follow me on Twitter, like my Facebook page and subscribe to my Youtube channel to keep up to date with all things fashion!
