Originally, I wasn’t expecting much of the Jane Iredale BB Cream*. Having never had a huge success with BB Creams, I tried it on a bit of whim and was sucked in by it’s shiny gold exterior. (How gorgeous is the packaging, by the way?). However, after my very first use I was impressed. As a pale baby, y’all know that shades of foundations is something I historically struggle with. For Jane Iredale, however, this doesn’t seem to be a problem, as it seems they cater for most skintones; this product comes in 8 shades from pale to dark. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this blended into my skin almost seamlessly with just a small amount of product. I actually use far less than is shown on the above picture, so for £33.50 (as reasonable price for a face product) this is proving to be a great investment.

The coverage is also the best I have found of a BB Cream. It’s definitely not a foundation, so although it claims to be full coverage, I don’t think it can be expected to be as full a coverage as legendary foundations such as Estee Lauder Double Wear. However, it is definitely a lovely light coverage that evens out the face and creates a lovely, natural looking base ready for other everyday make-up. There is also certainly a ‘glow’ to it, as suggested in the name. I have been wearing this every day since I first got it a few months ago and I have had no breakouts or allergic reactions, which is not uncommon for my sensitive skin; perhaps as it is a mineral based make-up product.

Honestly, this Jane Iredale Glow Time BB Cream is really great and I will definitely be repurchasing. It’s perfect for popping on for an everyday make-up look; I like to wear it every day during the week for work. The quality of it is incredible and I can’t tell you how much I love it. In fact, I am now cursing myself for not trying Jane Iredale products sooner – I can’t believe that as a cruelty-free brand, this is my first time, but it certainly will not be my last!
