The heatwave in the UK just keeps on going, and its giving me an opportunity to take full advantage of all the Summer dresses in my wardrobe that rarely get an airing! In fact, it has spurred me on to have a full wardrobe clear out (seriously, head to your local British Heart Foundation charity shop as they have had an influx of barely worn dresses that need a new home), and replace most of my summer dresses with some new staples. As I get a little older, I feel like my style matures too and now I am all about fairly modest summer dresses; a nice midi length, sensible neckline and capped sleeves are all things I look out for, and this Khaki Midi Dress I bought in the Warehouse Summer sale has it all!
I really enjoy the khaki colour of this dress. I guess it’s not your usual summer dress pastel pale or bright shade, and I think that makes it look more expensive than it was. I think originally this dress cost about £60, but I got it in the sale for £25 which I think is excellent value for money considering it is a lovely linen material and form fitting. I also chose all black accessories to go with it, and I quite like the dark tones together. I think they work well, even if I do say so myself!
