Ladies Tweed Checked Detail Trouser Suit

Another day in the office, another suit. Although we don’t have a strict dress code and most of the others in the office choose jeans, as part of the senior leadership team I like to try and look at least half-smart most days and for me, this job has brought with it a new found love of trouser suits (although most of the time I pair them with trainers for sheer comfort!).

This checked suit has earned me a lot of compliments in the past 9 months, and I can see it lasting a lot longer. Originally bought from River Island, I love the combination of tweed check print and red side stripe detail on the trousers and back of the blazer. I feel it’s super reminiscent of Gucci, and although it wasn’t cheap – costing me approx. £150 – it is definitely a tenth of the price you would pay for a designer piece…
