Palm prints, sunsets and gold are the height of summer 2016 and this month’s Lookfantastic Beauty Box completely encompasses all the best bits of the season. In my opinion, the July #LFBeautyBox in Summer Lovin is undoubtedly one of the best Lookfantastic Beauty boxes; not only is the design beautiful and desk-worthy (yep I’m keeping it!) but the contents of it are pretty special too…

So, what’s inside? As well as the assortment of six beauty surprises – it’s like a little gift to yourself to your door each month – the Lookfantastic Beauty Box includes a beautiful bespoke magazine with how to’s, product information and beauty trends, as well as a copy of the latest Elle Magazine. This box is worth over £50 and costs from only £11.25 for a monthly subscription. Bargain, right?

Inside the Lookfantastic Beauty Box you can expect to find a combination of haircare, skincare, makeup and bodycare in handy travel sizes – perfect for popping in your holiday toiletries case! Each month you will recieve six items, and this month the variety of items make them ideal for popping in your suitcase ready for your jollies. I will absolutely be taking each of these with me! And let me tell you why…

Firstly, let’s talk about the hero product of the Lookfantastic Summer Lovin box for me, which is a samples of the brand new Benefit Brow Product, Benefit Good Proof. This is a retractable, angled eyebrow pencil from the brand new range of Benefit Brow products available on Lookfantastic. It’s a travel size, but big enough to be given a good month or two’s experience of using the product daily. I was lucky enough to receive mine in Shade 6 (the darkest shade) which matches my hair perfectly! I have been using this daily since I received it.

Makeup items are some of my favourites to try out in the Beauty Box, because they come in such handy sample sizes that I can repurchase if I love them without wasting too much product if I don’t. For that reason, I’m delighted that #LFSummerLovin includes the Bellá Pierre Lip and Cheek Stain. This is a handy dual purpose product that can totally minimise the amount of products in your travel makeup case, and as a cream product is ideal for a lightweight holiday pinch of colour.

Similarly, the NUXE Huile Prodigieuse – a cross between bodycare and body makeup – is a product I have been eager to try for some time. Enriched with Vitamin E to moisturise your body, this is somewhere between a fake tan and a body shimmer, helping to give you a little bit of extra added colour before a night out. This is going to be SO lovely for evenings on holiday when you need a bit of extra tan highlight on your shoulders and legs.

Aside from Benefit Goof Proof and the Nuxe lotion, I was so excited to try the This Works In Transit Camera Close Up. This is a product known to be used by Victoria Beckham herself, and any beauty product good enough for Posh Spice is certainly good enough for me! This is a combination product, which works as a mask, moisturiser and primer all in one. I personally like to apply under makeup for a night out, to help my makeup last and look more photographic ready for my holiday snaps.

Finally, Lookfantastic haven’t forgotten the need to look after your locks on holiday and so have included a travel size Kebelo Silk Anti Freeze Cream Serum. As a gal with curly hair, I do indeed suffer from a spot of frizz on my holibobs and so this, packed with moisturising Argon oil, is going to come in super handy, and the perfect size for taking in my hand luggage. To compliment this, there’s also a three pack of  MiTi Bobbles included, so that when you tie your hair up for swimming you won’t suffer from any tears or knots.
